Description
Greens Cottage, also known as Shepherds Cottage, is a house dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of whitewashed brick and features a pantile roof. The building is one storey high with a dormer attic. A central door is located beneath a flat hood and porch, with a 20th-century window on either side, both set beneath gauged arches. The roof is a mansard style, with two sloping dormers that contain casement windows. There is limited tumbling in the gable heads, and internal gable end stacks are present. At the rear, there is a gabled cross wing that rises to two storeys, with scattered 20th-century windows throughout.
