Description

Number 36 on High Street, also known as Bennett, is a building likely from the 18th century with some alterations made in the 19th century. It is constructed of brown brick and has three stories. There are two sash windows on the first and second floors, which now feature only central glazing bars and flat arches. The roof is covered with slate. A former blank panel in the center has been filled in, and the shop front has been modernized, with some elements dating back to the 19th century. This building is part of a group that includes numbers 26 to 38 (even) and numbers 48 and 50.
