Description
No 34 on High Street is probably an early 18th-century building that has been altered. It is two stories tall and features a steep slate roof that is hidden behind a battlemented parapet with "Gothic" coping. The first floor is clad with modern hung tiles and has five sash windows with exposed frames. The windows are topped with stuccoed flat arches that are channelled to resemble voussoirs. There is a vehicle way underneath on the left side, while the right side mainly consists of modern shop fronts. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 26 to 38 (even) and Nos 48 and 50.
