Description
Street Farm Barn is an early 18th-century barn constructed of red brick featuring glazed headers and a thatched roof. The building has an 'L' shaped plan, with a three-storey barn facing the road and an earlier two-storey northern range at the back. The north wing showcases a chequer pattern in the brickwork, a brick plinth, vent slots, and inserted stable doors. The east-west range includes a blocked cart entrance and vent slots, along with inserted windows at the east end. There is a brick platband on the east side, an owl hole, and brick tumbling in the gables of the north and east parapets. The north range has a double butt purlin roof supported by wind braces, while the east-west range features a re-set double butt purlin roof.
