Description

An 18th-century threshing barn, now used as an agricultural store, is located on the south side of Hemblington Hall Road in Hemblington. The barn is constructed of red brick and originally had a thatched roof, which has been replaced with corrugated asbestos sheeting. A large double door opening is present on the north side. The roof structure includes purlins that butt into principals, with tie beams. The barn is included on the heritage register for its contribution to the wider group value of buildings in the area.
