Entrance arch incorporating pair of lodge cottages. Mid C19. Red brick with stone and stucco dressings. Pantiled roofs concealed by parapet. Two storeys with one-storey side wings. Symmetrical composition of five bays with central pointed entrance archway flanked by polygonal shafts with twisted terracotta finials. 2-light ground and first floor windows with Perpendicular tracery, square heads with dripmoulds. Outer bays slightly advanced with cusped single- light windows. Moulded brick string course below castellated parapet with saddleback copings; double-step above arch centre with recessed panel with arms and terracotta finial. Lower lean-to's on east and west sides. Chimney stacks symmetrically-placed with diagonally-set shafts. Windows on north side have simpler tracery; the two-storey lean-to's have segmental headed cross-casements. Doorways in single-storey lean-to's with semicircular rubbed brick arches. Soffit of entrance arch rendered; two entrance doors under archway with moulded 4-cented arched surrounds, doors with vertical battens. Pair of iron gates on south of archway with curved top rail, spiked railings and bottom rail with intermediates to form dog-guard.
