Description
Park Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 16th century and the 18th century. It is constructed of red brick, with some flintwork, and features a steeply-pitched pantile roof. The south elevation has four bays that are unevenly spaced, with 3-light casement windows set under gauged brick arches. The ground floor windows have transoms, and the brickwork has been extensively rebuilt and reworked. There is a 20th-century gabled porch that is off-centre to the west, with a square blind recess above it.
The east gable has a parapet with a moulded brick eaves corbel and a return of flint and brick, which includes a small blocked upper window opening. A prominent T-shaped chimney stack is located off-centre to the east, featuring three octagonal shafts with moulded caps and bases. There are internal gable stacks with twin square shafts. The west gable contains two ovolo-moulded attic casements, and the brickwork is tarred with tumbling-in to the parapet.
On the north side, there is a long catslide roof with two gabled 1½-storey projections over the entrance doors. The windows here are 2 and 3-light ovolo-moulded casements, and there are two wedge dormers in the attic, each with 3-light casements.
