Description
This pair of estate cottages, built in the early 19th century, is located 130 meters south-west of the Church of St. Peter and St. Paul in Heydon. Constructed from red brick and topped with a pantile roof, the cottages are two storeys high. They feature a symmetrical facade with two ground floor and two first floor windows, all of which are 2-light casements with glazing bars, positioned beneath a central pediment. There are two boarded entrance doors located in the outer bays. The ground floor openings are adorned with cambered brick arches, and the eaves and pediment are decorated with brick dentils. The south gable includes two small casements, and there is a central ridge stack with twin square chimney shafts. At the rear, there is a pantiled lean-to.
