Description
This pair of estate cottages, dating from the early 19th century, is located approximately 170 meters south-west of the Church of St. Peter and St. Paul. They are constructed from red brick and feature a pantiled roof. The cottages are two storeys high and have a rectangular plan with a symmetrical facade facing the street, which is three windows wide.
The central opening is a large segmental arch that contains double doors. Flanking the archway are two 6-panelled entrance doors and a sash window with glazing bars, all topped with segmental arches. On the first floor, there are three 2-light casement windows, also with glazing bars. The eaves are adorned with brick dentils, and there is a central pediment featuring brick dentils as well. The cottages have internal gable stacks with twin shafts that are linked by corbelled caps, and there is a catslide roof over a lean-to at the rear.
