Description

This is a barn located 85 yards west of Griston Hall, dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of brick and features a gabled roof covered with pantiles. The barn has a full-height central opening that is fitted with 20th-century galvanised doors. To the left, there is a blocked window with a slit window above it. The west gable is parapeted and supported by kneelers, with tumbling visible in the brickwork. On the north side, there is a pantiled outshut. Inside, the roof consists of tie beams, queen posts made of thin scantling, collars, and staggered butt purlins.
