Description
This is a barn dating from the mid-18th century, located at Gateleyhill Farm. It is constructed of brick, with some flint, and features a pantiled roof. At the rear, there is a continuous outshut that has a catslide roof, which includes one gabled and one sloping midstreys. On the west side, there are eight honeycomb ventilation openings beneath skewback arches with cambered soffits. The barn also has a corbelled cornice of the three-header type, and similar ventilation openings can be found in the gable ends, along with tumbling-in.
