Description
Chambers Court Barn is a barn dating from the mid to late 18th century, constructed from knapped flints with red brick dressings and featuring a half-hipped slate roof. The west side includes three sets of two brick ventilation slits, a cambered cart entrance with double doors, and a cambered entrance on the right with a plank door on pintle hinges. The south end has a blocked cambered entrance. On the east side, there are five two-tier ventilation slits, with the upper ones arched, along with a brick and flint buttress and double doors. The interior consists of six bays with an angled queen strut roof and staggered purlins, with alternate bays featuring two tiers of purlins and a ridge piece. The end bay is floored. Attached to the barn is a rectangular wall made of knapped flint with red brick dressings.
