Description
Centre Farmhouse is a late 18th-century farmhouse constructed of brick with pantiled roofs. It features a contemporary two-storey extension at the rear of the main block. The building stands two storeys high with an attic and has a symmetrical facade consisting of five bays, each with 2-light mullion and transom windows, which include single metal casements set beneath skewback arches with cambered soffits. The front door is panelled and has a narrow rectangular fanlight, topped by a broken pedimental hood supported on brackets. An elaborate moulded brick cornice runs along the top, and there are three dormers with moulded pediments. The farmhouse also has gable-end stacks and tumbling-in, along with sawtooth cornices at the rear.
