Description
Church Bungalows is a row of three small houses built in the Gothick style in the early 19th century. The houses were originally rendered, with the central house still showing a surface of flint chippings. They feature raised keyed gault brick dressings and have a slate roof. Each house is one storey high and consists of three bays, with a blind traceried front door and a two-light Y-traceried arched fanlight above. The houses are flanked by two-light arched Y-traceried windows. The central house is slightly advanced compared to the others. The roof extends to form a verandah supported on modern oak posts, which were previously rustic tree trunks, and wraps around the canted ends. There are two axial stacks with pairs of angled shafts, and a red brick lean-to is located at the rear.
