Description

A pair of gates and railings to Chesham House, dating from around 1800, are made of iron and sit on a gault brick plinth with stone coping. The gates are hung on large octagonal gault brick piers, while the inner piers are also octagonal and feature a lozenge pattern. The gates and railings are designed with simple spear points, complemented by a lozenge pattern along the base and at regular vertical intervals.
