Description
Old Hall Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 16th or 17th century, with later alterations. It is constructed from flint, ferruginous conglomerate, re-used limestone, and has brick dressings. The building features a modern black pantiled roof and stands two storeys high. The east facade has three bays of sash windows with glazing bars that have replaced the original long windows. There is a modern panelled front door that is partly glazed. A 18th-century stack bay has been added to the south gable-end, primarily made of brick with tumbling-in and a platband. The west facade includes later extensions that are not of special interest, although one section of the original facade remains visible with modern glazing. The farmhouse has a steeply pitched roof and gable-end stacks, and it is situated on a moated site.
