Description

The barn at Hillside is a small structure dating from the early 18th century. It is built of brick with a flint plinth and features a pantile roof. The barn has a central cart entrance that is slightly elevated above the wall plate level. There are a pair of square honeycomb ventilation openings and a dentil cornice. The gables display fine closely set tumbling-in and owl holes. Additionally, there is a square honeycomb ventilation opening on the east gable end, which has been boarded over. A modern side extension has been added to the south.
