Description

Carpenter's Cottage is a house from the early 17th century, constructed with a timber frame. It features a lobby entrance plan with a bay on either side of a central chimney stack, forming a T shape. There is a rear extension added around 1970. The walls are plastered, and the roof is gable-ended with plain tiles. The building has one storey and attics, with modern leaded casements and two dormers. A gabled porch is present, along with chamfer-stopped beams and joists, and a clasped purlin roof.
