Description

The Cottage is a house dating from the 17th century or earlier, featuring an exposed timber frame and plaster construction. It has two bays and is one storey high with attics. The roof is covered with slate, and there is an end chimney stack on the west gable. The windows are casements with glazing bars, and there are two 3-light attic dormers. Inside, the property includes chamfer-stopped floor beams and a fireplace bressumer. It was formerly the cottage of the gamekeeper for Lockleys House.
