Description

Adelphi Cottages are a house dating from the 17th century or earlier. The house has a timber frame and is plastered, with two storeys and a ridged, gabled roof covered in peg tiles. An eaves line and a central chimney stack are made of red brick. The first storey has a range of four small-paned sash windows, which have exposed boxes but no horn. The ground storey has five altered windows and a door on the right-hand side. There is a single-storey extension with a ridged roof facing the road and a lean-to addition at the opposite end.
