Description

Lyme Cottage is a 16th or 17th century cottage located on Langham School Road, known as Blacksmiths Corner. It features a timber-framed and plastered structure with a thatched roof. The cottage is one storey high with attics and has three gabled dormers that contain leaded casement windows. The central front door is set within a gabled porch, flanked by a set of three casements on either side. There is a modern red brick chimney at the west end and another chimney on the north pitch of the roof.
