Description

Floral Dene is a 17th-century house, originally timber-framed and plastered, situated in Langham Park Lane. The house consists of three bays and two storeys, forming an L-plan thanks to later additions. The roof is ridged and gabled, covered with thatch, and includes a single-bay rear lean-to at the northwest. Two brick chimneys are present – one near the return and one flanking the end gable. An eyebrow dormer is also visible. The central entrance is housed within a 14th-century door frame, with sash windows on either side. The first floor exhibits clamps, bladed scarfs, a forelock bolted, and a reversed assembly at the two central tie-beams.
