Description

Digswell Farm House is a probable mid to late 18th century building, altered subsequently. It is of two storeys, constructed primarily of red brick with some rendered sections, and has a hipped tile roof with three flat dormers. The side elevation retains a brick dentil eaves cornice. The front has four modern casement windows, each of three lights, along with a round-headed window, now divided into four casement lights. There's also an external chimney stack. The ground floor incorporates two windows with arched heads, now fitted with three-light casements, and a smaller window. A modern brick porch has been added. A two-storey wing extends to the rear. Attached to the main house is a garage, originally a 17th century cottage constructed of brick with a tiled roof. This section has three windows with segmental heads, and a modern extension has been added. A notable feature is a large external brick chimney stack with a stepped base.
