Description
The Thatched House is a house that likely dates from the 16th century. It has a timber frame and is finished with roughcast and weatherboarding. The steep thatched roof features a central red brick chimney stack from the 16th or 17th century, which has two square shafts. The building is designed in an L-shape with large and small gable ends facing the road. It has one storey and attics. The windows are modern leaded casements, and there is a central porch with a gabled roof supported by brackets. Additionally, there is a bracketed pigeon loft on the gable of the rear cross wing.
