Description
Wendover Lodge, now divided into flats 1 to 7, is a house that dates from the late 18th century, with a refacing that occurred in the mid-19th century and further alterations in the 1960s. The building is finished in stucco and has slate roofs. The central block consists of two storeys and attics, topped with a mansard roof. It features three recessed sash windows with moulded frames. The entrance is marked by a central porch with a pediment, pilaster responds, and altered columns. There are chimney stacks at each end of the building. To the left, there is a 19th-century two-window extension and a modern extension beyond that. On the right side, there is a 19th-century one-window extension, which is a single storey at the front and has one sash window. At the rear, there is a gabled two-storey block.
