Description
Church Cottage is part of an interwoven group of three houses, likely dating from the 16th century. The buildings are arranged in a U shape, with two gable ends facing north. The north side is constructed of red brick, while the east side features half timber and cement. The south elevation, which faces the street, is made of painted brick and stucco. The houses are two storeys high and have steep plain tile roofs. The east elevation displays vertical studs and includes three 3-light glazing bar casements. There is a projecting bay on the south side and a 19th-century porch bay on the north side. External chimney stacks and lean-to outshuts are present on the northern projections. The street elevation has recent glazing bar casements.
