Description
No. 5 Church Street is a rustic style cottage dating from the mid-19th century. It features random red brick walls with dressed brick angles and has a plain tile roof topped with a chimney stack that has three diagonal shafts. The building is one storey high with attics. On the left side, there is a gabled projection that includes a door with a four-centre arch and a canted bay window with a stepped plinth and a tiled hood. The cottage has casement windows that are fitted with lozenge-pattern cast iron bars and chamfered surrounds. To the right, there is a single storey continuation.
