Description

Yew Court Farm House is a house dating from the early to mid 18th century, with extensions added in the early 19th century and further alterations and a new roof in the early 20th century. The building is constructed of red brick, with some stucco, and features a tiled roof. It has two storeys and a three-window front. The central entrance is adorned with an early 20th-century gabled timber porch.

To the right of the entrance, there is a straight joint indicating an earlier build, along with a moulded plinth. The ground floor includes two and four-light timber casements on the right and a three-light casement on the left, while the first floor has three and four-light casements, all featuring cambered heads. The eaves are dentilled brick, and the roof has a hipped shape with swept eaves, supported by two ridge stacks, including a right end stack and a lean-to outshut.

On the left return, there are four early 19th-century bays that are stuccoed from the early 20th century. The entrance is located in the second bay from the front, with three-light casements and a single light above the entrance, all with cambered heads. The eaves are again dentilled brick, with 20th-century sprocketed eaves on the hipped roof. A cross axial stack from the 20th century is located at the rear end.

At the rear, there are two and three-light casements on a projecting wing to the right, and a hipped wing at the center, behind which extend lower gabled blocks. The left side of the rear features some tile hanging and a first-floor three-light iron frame casement. The interior has not been inspected.
