Description

This mile post, located on the towing path about 600 meters northeast of Stocker's Lock, was constructed in 1893 by the London and Lancashire Engineering Company for the Grand Junction Canal Company. It is made of cast iron and features a rectangular plate with raised lettering that reads 'G.J.C. and Co./BRAUNSTON/75 MILES'.
