Description

The Wilson Monument, located immediately north of the chancel of the Church of St. Mary in Rickmansworth, is a Grade II listed urn-tomb dedicated to T. Wilson, who died in 1843. This monument is constructed of stone and is designed in the Greek Revival style. It features a pedestal with diagonally extruded piers at the front corners and a semi-circular shape at the rear. The structure includes a moulded plinth and capping, as well as antefixae. The upper section has battered sides with a pediment and an inscribed panel, topped by an urn.
