Description

The White Lion Inn is an 18th-century building with a red brick front that conceals an earlier structure. It features a tiled roof with a dentil brick cornice and stands two storeys high. The façade includes five flush sash windows with glazing bars, ground floor cambered arches, and two triple light windows, along with a modern Georgian-style window on the right. The inn formerly had a broad carriageway that displayed early timbers. The White Lion Inn is part of a group that includes Nos 60 to 72 (even) and No 72A.
