Description

No. 37 High Street is a late 16th-century building featuring a plastered front and a red brick base constructed in Flemish bond. The original plaster has mostly been replaced with colour-washed pebble dash. The building has a tiled roof with cross gables at both ends and stands two storeys tall. It includes three casement windows and a central ground floor canted bay window. A massive red brick chimney stack is also a prominent feature. Nos. 31 to 37 (odd) and No. 35A form a group.
