Description

No. 64 High Street is a late 18th century, narrow-fronted red brick house. It features a parapet that partly obscures a tall, steeply pitched tiled roof. The building has two storeys, with a canted bay window on the ground floor that includes an entablature. On the first floor, there is a sash window with glazing bars set in a reveal under a flat arch. The entrance consists of a six-panelled door framed by an early 19th century ribbed surround, which has roundels at the corners, a frieze, and a cornice hood. This house is part of a group that includes Nos. 60 to 72 (even) and No. 72A.
