Description

66 High Street is an early 19th-century house constructed of grey brick. It features a hipped roof covered with Welsh slate and has a wooden cornice supported by paired brackets. The building is two storeys high and has pilasters at either end, with a broad stucco bond between the floors. There are four sash windows with glazing bars set in reveals beneath flat arches. The house has two doors; the main door consists of four panels and is set in a panelled reveal beneath a bracketed hood. This property formerly had an Ionic porch, which has since been removed. Nos 60 to 72 (even) and 72A form a group with this building.
