Description
Beechtree Cottages is a house dating from around 1800 for the front block, with a rear wing that is from the 17th century or earlier. The front features a chequered red brick facade, while the rear is constructed with a timber frame that is cased in brick and plaster. The roofs are covered with plain tiles. The front of the house has two storeys and includes dentilled brick eaves. There are two flush sash windows, with the ground floor windows having segmental heads. To the left of the centre, there is a blocked door. The side elevation features an early 19th-century plank door that has a cut bracketed pediment hood. The rear block also has two storeys, with one glazing bar casement window on both the ground and first floors. The west side of the rear has a truncated gable end adjacent to the front block.
