Description
The west range of outbuildings at Corner Farm, including a former pigsty, dates from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. This L-shaped range of barns is constructed with a timber frame and weatherboarding, consisting of two sections. The longer section, which is closer to the farmhouse, has four bays and is likely from the late 18th century, while the three-bay barn is from the early 19th century and features a similar clasped purlin roof but with thinner construction. The pigsty, built in red brick and featuring a pentice roof, is also from the early 19th century. It is located on the eastern side of the northern barn and includes a small walled pound with three round-headed openings, two of which are paired.
