Description
Old Farmhouse is a house dating from the 17th century. The front blocks are timber framed, featuring colour washed plaster and 20th-century mock timber framing on the exterior. The rear block is constructed partly of brick and partly timber framed, with weatherboarding. The roofs are covered with 20th-century tiles. The house has two parallel front blocks with gable ends facing the road, which are connected to a rear cross-wing by a 20th-century lower addition. It is two storeys high. The east elevation has 20th-century leaded casements, with three lights on the ground floor and two lights on the first floor. There is a 20th-century mock timber-framed porch on the north elevation. The house features red brick ridge stacks, with the stack on the south wing having paired diagonal shafts.
