Description
Hill End Cottages are a pair of cottages built in the mid to late 17th century, designed in a T plan with a lobby-entrance range at the front. The cottages feature an exposed timber frame and have a plain tile roof. A prominent large central chimney stack made of red brick, with four joined shafts arranged in a cross plan, is a notable feature. The front range consists of two and a half bays and includes three sash windows, with three lights on the outside and two lights in the middle. There are also a pair of 20th-century doors. At the rear, there is a projection that has a similar chimney stack from the 19th or 20th century.
