Description
Nos 2 and 4 Fishpool Street is an early 19th-century angle house that wraps around the corner into Welclose Street. The building has two storeys and features three windows on each side. At the corner, there is a curved window on the first floor and a street door on the ground floor, which is flanked by panels. The exterior is made of red brick with a pattern of blue headers. It has a low-pitched, hipped slate roof. On the first floor, there are gauged, flat red brick arches above the sash windows, which have glazing bars and stucco-lined reveals; three of these windows are blocked. The ground floor windows and doors alternate between elliptical and square heads, all with gauged brick arches. The ground floor of No 4 includes an early 19th-century style shop window.
