Description

No. 5 Fishpool Street is an early 18th-century building featuring two storeys and four windows, with an additional one-window extension to the right. The front is plastered with a rendered plinth and topped by a high-pitched, swept, tiled roof. It has sash windows with broad glazing bars set in slightly projecting box frames. The entrance door consists of six fielded panels and is adorned with a reeded cornice head and a radial fanlight. Above the door, there is a semi-circular hood supported by carved console brackets. At the back, there is a long, gabled extension that resembles early 17th-century architecture. This building is part of a group that includes Nos. 1 to 15 (odd).
