Description

Nos 1 and 3 Bridge Street is an early 19th-century building. It features a plain two-storey design with two upper windows on the left and three on the right, and a central recessed section that is rounded at the corner. The building has a slate roof with a low parapet and cornice. The walls are painted brick with rubbed flat arches, a first-floor band, and stone cills. The windows are sash style. The rounded corner includes a symmetrical shop front on the ground floor, complete with a cornice, frieze, and pilasters surrounding a central doorway. The facade facing Winchester Street has a round-headed window, which was formerly a doorway, and retains a decorative fanlight within the arch. The Bridge Street front features a modern shopfront.
