Description

The mill at Mill House is a late 19th-century windmill, likely built shortly after 1862. Its sails were removed around 1890. Constructed of tarred red brick with a cemented top, the windmill stands approximately 15 metres high. Some 20th-century brick has replaced sections of the ground floor. It features small casement windows on three levels, with one window on the west side retaining its original glazing bars. The building was formerly known as Colney Heath Mill.
