Description

Apsley Cottage is an 18th-century house with a timber frame and roughcast exterior, topped by a steep slate roof. The building has two storeys and features two 20th-century glazing bar casements in their original openings. The gable ends are marked by broad external chimney stacks, with the left stack including an external oven and previously enclosed by an outshut. There is a circa 1900 door with a hood, and a single-storey extension added to the right in the 20th century.
