Description
Nos 19 and 21 Welclose Street is a pair of early 19th-century buildings. Each building has two storeys and two windows. No 19 features a one-storey, one-window extension on the left side, while No 21 has a two-storey, one-window extension on the right side. The buildings are finished in stucco and have a low-pitched, hipped slate roof with bracketed eaves soffit. The sash windows, which have glazing bars, are framed by moulded architraves, and there are raised panels with an incised variant of the Greek fret beneath. The round-arched door is also framed by a moulded architrave and fluted Doric quarter columns, topped with a cornice head and a patterned fanlight.
