Description
Number 1 Thatched Cottages is a late 17th or early 18th century house. It is timber-framed and has a red brick casing, with the left end restored or extended in the 20th century. The gable end is plastered and features an external chimney stack. The roof is thatched, with two large thatched gabled dormers. There are three casement windows; the two on the right have original cambered heads. One door survives from the original pair of cottages.
