Description

The Cedars is a late 18th or early 19th century house and garage, originally a coach house serving Welcombe, now part of the Moat House Hotel. It is constructed of red brick with plain tile roofs. The house is a narrow, two-story block with a gable end and dentilled brick eaves. There are two segmental-headed flush sash windows with 19th-century shutters. The front door and hood are from around 1970. A single-story garage, slightly later in date, adjoins the left side and also features dentilled eaves and two segmental-headed wide openings.
