Description

Bedborough Cottage is a late 17th or 18th century house. Originally a timber-framed structure with a thatched roof, it now has a painted brick façade with a half-hipped east end and a ridge stack. The house is one-and-a-half storeys high. The upper floor has three casement windows grouped in pairs, set under eyebrows. The ground floor has a 20th century window, a door, a five-light casement window, and a casement pair, all with cambered heads. There are traces of two blocked doors, indicating it may have originally been a row of three one-room cottages. Some timbers are exposed in the east end gable. The building has group value.
