Description
Home Farm House is an estate cottage associated with the Roundway Park estate. It underwent early 19th-century remodelling of an 18th-century cottage. The building features a roughcast exterior on brick, topped with a thatched half-hipped roof and a ridge stack. It is two storeys tall and exhibits a picturesque cottage style, characterized by a timber Gothic pelmet cornice and a first-floor string course. The central entrance is located in a hipped thatched porch, flanked by pairs of casement windows. The ground floor windows are fitted with shutters, while the upper windows, which break the eaves under an eyebrow, are arched and contain two leaded pointed lights.
