Description

Rose Cottage is a late 17th or early 18th century cottage, originally part of a row of buildings. It was renovated in the 20th century. The cottage has a timber frame with plastered infill, and a red brick gable on the left-hand side. The roof is thatched, and it features two 19th-century gault brick stacks: one at the left-hand gable and a ridge stack with paired shafts to the right of centre. A red brick end stack is also present on the right-hand side. The building is one storey high with an attic. It has five ground floor casement windows with lattice lights, and three eyebrow dormer casement windows in the attic. There are possibly four sealed doors and one boarded door to the right of centre.
