Description

Wayside Cottage is a late 17th and early 18th century timber-framed cottage, originally plastered and with a thatched roof. It is a single-storey building with attics, featuring two small casement windows with small panes. A central vertically boarded door provides access. A red brick chimney stack is situated to the left, incorporating a red tiled bake oven. Inside, the cottage retains chamfered bridging joists, through bracing to the walls, and a brick floor.
